Dental Crowns
A dental crown is a tooth shaped cap placed over a damaged tooth to restore its shape, size and strength. They are used to cover large fillings or broken teeth, support dental bridges, or improve the appearance of certain teeth.
Getting a crown can be a two-step process. In the first visit, the tooth will be prepared, and an impression or scan is taken to be sent to a dental lab to fabricate the final customized crown. A temporary crown is placed on the tooth until the final crown is made. At the second visit, the final crown will be permanently placed on the tooth.
