In-office teeth whitening uses a bleaching agent, typically hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, to lighten the shade of teeth and make them appear brighter. The dentist applies the whitening gel to the teeth, and some procedures also utilize a laser or light to activate the bleaching process and enhance results. Our staff works carefully to protect your gums and other soft tissue from the lightening agent so there is no irritation. We also offer take home whitening kits which can work better for people with sensitive teeth.
